Job Description

Our client is looking for a Data Analyst in Glasgow city centreClient DetailsA leader in their fieldDescription

  • Monitoring and analysing data to ensure the company can record and meets its decarbonisation goals.
  • Together with the Performance Manager, monitoring of all KPIs and then reporting to management and business units as necessary.
  • Providing reports, statements and data to the chartering and operations departments and advising on speed, schedule and utilisation information as necessary to meet industry index targets on a vessel and fleet basis.
  • Together with the Performance Manager, liaising with the technical department and ship managers to drive energy efficiency performance from a commercial viewpoint, including monitoring and instigation of hull cleaning and propellor polishing.
  • To be a power user of the weather routing and data collection software and to ensure that vessel data is always maintained accurately by the vessel and ship managers.
  • To maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of all environmental and decarbonisation regulations and indices and to report and update the staff regularly.
  • To keep data and provide information necessary to ensure company compliance with emissions/carbon trading regimes (e.g. EU ETS)
