Job Description

If you do not have a current PIN number you will not be shortlisted, please do not apply for this Registered Nurse VacancyYou will be a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker With appropriate registration and have the ability to work with a varied client group experiencing acute illness and with complex needs. You will work as part of a wider team based within one of three sites.You will be responsible to the Team Leader and will work as part of a dynamic, fast paced team, providing short term input to a diverse population in acute crisis as an alternative to hospital admission or to facilitate early discharge. You will supervise and support junior staff, taking responsibility for own workload and taking charge of shift. The ability to work under pressure and excellent communication skills are essential to the role. As you will work across 3 sites and carry out home visits, a current driving licence is highly recommended. Substantial community experience is required as is ability to complete comprehensive assessments which will dictate future input, whilst managing risk effectively.The shift pattern is; 2 shifts 9.00am to 8.00pm with 9.00am to 5.00pm during weekends and public holidays.Informal ContactIshbel Brown, Crisis Team Lead on.Details on how to contact the Recruitment Service can be found within the Candidate Information Pack
