With the flexibility of 50/50 hybrid working in the city center and a large, thriving finance team, this 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (with a strong likelihood of conversion to permanent) offers a unique chance to showcaseyour skills.What will your day look like

  • Cash Investigation: Delving into aged unallocated cash by collaborating closely with brokers and clients across various accounts, ensuring meticulous attention to detail
  • Allocation Oversight: Reviewing existing commentary by account handlers, ensuring unallocated cash is correctly assigned to accounts, and addressing any coding issues
  • Policy Adherence: Monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures, providing constructive feedback to individual and senior management when necessary
  • Transactional Harmony: Resolving discrepancies between Gallaghers and external clients, promoting seamless financial transactions
  • Process Improvement: Proposing recommendations to enhance the management of unallocated cash through process reviews and root cause analysis, with a focus on continual improvement
  • Reporting:Preparing daily and weekly reports for presentation at senior management levelWe are looking for:
    • Accounts ReceivableExpertise: A strong background in accounts receivableand a keen eye for financial details
    • Process Optimization: Experience in forming and implementingprocess improvements, with the ability to identify areas for enhancement and propose solutions
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and senior management
    • Problem-Solving Acumen: A knack for resolving discrepancies and the ability to escalate issues when needed
    • Analytical Mindset: The capacity to provide data-driven recommendations and contribute to daily and weekly reporting to senior management
