Country ManagerCountry Manager, Solar Energy, permanent job, any UK location, £90k - 110k + excellent benefitsYour new companySTEAG Solar Energy Solutions GmbH are the UK based entity of German Power company, STEAG Group. The UK based team manage turnkey solutions within the development, construction, operation, maintenance and refit of rooftop and large scale solar plans.Your new roleAs the Country Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the business, with an overall remit to achieve organisational objectives, in line with the wider SENS ambitions.As a relatively new entity (UK business), there is an onus on creating a strong brand and culture, weaving the wider Group standards and principles, into the team ethos.You will hold responsibility for developing new partnerships, winning new projects and opportunities. You will lead, manage and develop the team, with overall oversight of budgets and resources. Reporting to The Head Office Leadership you will ensure complianceis adhered too, and produce reporting to monitor and drive performance.What youll need to succeedTo be considered for this position, you must have leadership experience within the PV (Solar), or wider renewables industries. You will thrive in a hands-on environment, using your industry experience and excellent communication skills to develop the business.You will be comfortable operating and managing within a largely remote working environment.You will have advances leadership experience, with the ability to create a vision and identity, and the drive to grow with the business, distilling the global to the local from a strategic perspective.With a strong commercial acumen, you will have experience within corporate operations including M&A, deal structuring and dealing with investors, as well as the foresight to spot industry trends and respond ahead of the curve.What youll get in returnYou will receive a highly competitive salary, as well as excellent benefits package.
