Job Description

Corporate Sales ManagerRemote (Covering Scotland)Competitive Salary + CommissionCompany Car & BenefitsYour new role: Source and structure invoice discounting opportunities in the £1-15 million space, across Scotland.You will build a network of introducers and business relationships to help drive growth. Youll be given the resources and remit to be creative in your approach to build a presence in your region. The goal is to become the person your network approacheswhen they have a transaction or seek advice. Youll be indispensable to them.Youll be the deal captain, responsible for overall structuring, credit analysis and communication on each deal. You need to be both creative and objective in your approach, managing the balance of risk versus reward.Sound exciting Lets try and put you offWhilst you will get a unique exposure to a range of businesses and the opportunity to create a brand that will serve you for many years to come, it is not without problems or risk.One day all can be going right, for it to only fall apart the next day. Emotional resilience and the ability to start all over again is a requirement, not a nice to have.You will be given time to embed yourself in the business, learn operations and build relationships across wider teams. However, this is a sales role and you will be measured against targets and held accountable if you dont meet expectations.If youre from outside the industry, experience in a professional services firm or consultancy would be useful. You will most likely have been an Associate Director or Senior Manager in an audit or advisory role and have been responsible for directly leadingclient engagements with the support of senior Partners.By the way, if you dont have experience in invoice discounting, dont worry. You will be supported by a fast-track development programme, supported by an experienced, market-facing leadership team who will assist you in developing your network and lendingexperience.If this sounds like a bit of you, take a peek at the perks below:
