Our client, one of the UK’s leading independent providers of Commercial Finance to businesses requires a Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Scotland.Your primary responsibility will be to proactively seek and develop new clients and revenue for the company and effectively convert business lending opportunities, specifically Receivables Finance and Asset Based Lending facilities. Target deal size willtypically be in the range of £2 Million to £15 Million. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining an extensive network of introductory sources including finance Brokers, Banks, Accountants and Corporate Finance boutiques throughout your designatedterritory.You will display an exceptional work ethic and be able to prove a track record of high achievement within this or a related field. You will have a desire to succeed in a fast-paced transactional sales environment and embrace acting as an ambassador for thebrand.The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate comprehensive technical and credit risk skills in structuring and positioning deals across the lending mandate.
