Job Description

Consultant Landscape Planner Location: Glasgow £22,500 - £27,000 plus life cover, pension, cycle scheme and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days My clients are an award-winning Environmental Consultancy. They have offices based across the UK with over 100 employees.Due to expansion they are looking for a Consultant Landscape Planner to join their expanding team.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Landscape Character Assessment
  • Green infrastructure projects
  • Planning for future landscapes and responding to climate change
  • Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment
  • Landscape design, mitigation and implementation
To apply you MUST have or hold:
  • Hold a Degree in a relevant discipline, i.e. Landscape Architecture or planning, geography or similar related qualifications if you can demonstrate experience or understanding of the work
  • If you have experience in the preparation of LVIAs or have an understanding of them
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks and time, using initiative.
  • A knowledge of or interest in learning software packages including ArcGIS, ReSoft Windfarm, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign etc.) and SketchUp
  • Full UK driving licence
