They are looking for a Compliance & Training Officer to cover 12 monthmaternity leave.Our Client:With a UK-based Head Office, they have been trading for over 120 years and has over 1200 staff members worldwide working across over 25 global sites.There are manufacturing facilities on every continent. The company focuses on industrial rotating equipment and drive units supplying every major sector.Role:This is a fixed-term contract role within the Compliance Team to cover maternity leave. You will be a key member of the team, helping to drive through a culture of compliance across more than 25 global sites. The role provides a unique opportunity to interactwith senior leaders and board directors of this £300 Million+ turnover business.You will be responsible for:

• Administration, update and management of employee training records.
• Administration of training system to include assignment and monitoring of on-line training; creation of new user training accounts; archiving of training accounts where required and preparation and formatting of training presentations for system upload.
• Follow-up of overdue training with Group sites worldwide.
• Liaison with local points of contact to obtain new start/leaver information.
• Liaison with and where necessary provide advice on appropriate training for new and existing employees.
• Regular Group training status report preparation for Senior Executive team.
• Document management of commission agent/authorised reseller/third party business partner agreements and records.
• Assist local businesses to conduct due diligence of new and existing intermediaries.
• Due diligence paperwork review, analysis and red flag reporting.
• Conduct customer and supplier sanctions checks; analysis of results and red flag reporting.
• Compliance record/file management.
• Support Training & Compliance Manager and Head of Compliance where required - in particular with preparation of ad hoc presentations and reports.

Role Requirements:

• Youll be an adapt communicator across all levels - from board members, directors and managers down. Capable of persuading and influencing in order to build a culture of compliance.
• Youll possess an eye for detail and be capable of analysing data and helping to prepare reports
• Youll possess a cultural awareness, allowing you to be comfortable dealing with colleagues from Chile to China, Australia to Scotland and everywhere in between.
• Youll possess the ambition to forge a career within a dynamic and growing global engineering business.
• A working knowledge of a second language (Spanish or Mandarin, for example) would be a huge benefit, although not an essential requirement.
