An exciting opportunity is available to join an expanding team in one of Glasgows largest distribution centres. As part of the Site Services Team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the site and its assets to support the operations team and thewider business.Job PurposeTo work in conjunction with the wider Site Services Team to ensure the sites systems and assets are maintained in good working order. The role is included in an on call rota with associated on call and overtime payments to provide out of hours site coverage.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities * PPMs* Reactive maintenance* Maintenance & replacement of commercial gas equipment* Site wide water system and plumbing repairs and maintenance* Adhere to onsite Health & Safety measures* Ability to work overtime when required and participate in an emergency out of hours service as required, including carrying out other multi skilled trades work where necessary.Key Skills & Competencies* 5+ Years Experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer* Service, Maintenance, Breakdown and Install experience* Experience working within Plant room* Attention to detail* Ability to recognise when issues need to be escalated* Take responsibility of projects delegated from M&E supervisor* Maintaining good working relationship with onsite contactors and third party support* Good communication with team leaders and management* Good communication with daily handovers and shift performanceThe successful candidate will have experience in commercial gas engineering and hold a valid commercial gas ticket with a blend of the following ACS modules: COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A.Remuneration:Salary on offer of £32,000 plus extensive benefits:* Flex Benefits * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Ride2work loan * Pension- Company match 6% * Life assurance- x4 * Buy and Sell holidays * Eyecare vouchers * Discounted bookshop * Subsidised canteen * Free parking * Axa For more information, please dont hesitate to get in touch.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
