Job Description

Commercial Finance ManagerBased in Glasgow with the opportunity to work from home occasionallyExcellent salary and benefits package on offerLusona is supporting our client in the Facilities Management Sector to source suitable applicants for the post of Commercial Finance Manager. This is a new role, and the successful applicant will report to the Finance Director and work closely with the Salesand Business Development function to support new business opportunities.The Commercial Finance Manager will be expected to drive business value by offering expert financial and analytical advice to aid decision-making.The main duties will include:

  • Working closely with the Finance Director to ensure all company new business targets are achieved
  • Developing a robust and flexible pricing model
  • Working with the Sales Team to assess new business opportunities, carrying out detailed analysis and pricing for new contracts
  • Performing both contract and customer profitability analysis
  • Working in a project team environment, with pressurised deadlines to support business tenders
  • Supporting mobilisation of new business contracts with successful handover to Finance team
  • Supporting the wider Finance team to deliver excellence
  • Driving improvement in company profitability
  • Ensuring accuracy of analysis and pricing submissions
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or CA) with significant experience in a comparable role, ideally within a facilities management or retail environment. Applicants must have management accounting, pricing, and dataanalysis experience.The role will be based at the client HQ in Glasgow and the successful will have the opportunity to work from home two days per week.
