My client is searching for a Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their Glasgow, Lanarkshire offices.My client currently have an opportunity for a candidate with 4 years+ PQE to join the Commercial Dispute Resolution team which operates as a single unit across our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of activities including property and contractual disputes, insolvency litigation and debt recovery in the Sheriff Courts, Court of Session and Lands Tribunal. The successful candidate will requireto advise a broad range of clients from SMEs to large public sector organisations and will represent those clients in all forms of dispute forums (litigation, mediation etc ).Key Skills and Responsibilities You will be involved in a wide range of commercial disputes, specifically within insolvency and property litigation. You will have experience acting for insolvency practitioners, directors, lenders and other stakeholders in formal insolvencies. You will also be familiar with handling property litigation for both landlords and tenants, as well as residential, commercial and industrial matters.Experience RequiredApplicants should have a minimum of four years post qualifying experience and must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to deal with a broad range of litigation matters.Hours and Location The position is based in their Glasgow office but the successful candidate will work a hybrid of home and office working.
