Job Description

Undertake collection activities as directed as part of a coordinated effort to support customers in arrears and seek solutions which deliver good customer outcomes.Client DetailsFinancial solutions businessDescription

  • Perform all aspects of collection activity in line with all business collection policy, procedures and strategy.
  • Manage and control arrears cases with the objective of bringing the customers agreement up to date whilst ensuring good customer outcomes.
  • Handle inbound and outbound collection calls updating records accurately after each call.
  • Undertake letter, email and text correspondence with customers ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Ensure performance levels are maintained in line with expectations.
  • Ensure account management is followed on each agreement worked including the updating of all relevant customer details and the recording of contact content.
  • Follow all compliance procedures in respect of collections activity undertaken.
  • Accurately complete income and expenditure assessments where appropriate and make decisions to ensure customer affordability on all repayment solutions.
  • Advise and negotiate with customers on suitable, affordable and sustainable repayment plans to drive the best possible customer outcome.
  • Display strong telephone manner with the ability to build rapport and communicate well whilst negotiating positive outcomes.
  • Adhere to, and display, the company values and ensure company brand name is protected by vigilance and compliance to company policies.
Profile
  • Educated to Higher or Equivalent Standard
  • Previous experience in collections environment
  • Experience in Finance collections is preferred

Job Offer
  • Permanent, Full-time (35 hours a week)
  • Hybrid working (2 shifts in the office a week)
  • Flexibility is required at times to cover our trading hours:Monday to Friday: 8am - 8pmSaturday: 9am - 6pmSunday: 9am - 6pm5 over 7 days on shift basis to cover business hours.
