These posts will be based within one of the Specialist Children’s Services CAMH teams in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will deliver psychology input to children and young people with severe mental health difficulties as part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside other psychologists, receiving supervision from senior psychologists within your team and managed by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. You will be part of a boardwide network of some 60 psychologists working in Specialist Children’s Services with good links to both the University of Glasgow Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and the University of Edinburgh MSc in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People. It is essential that you have a Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. It is also essential that you are currently registered with the HCPC as a clinical psychologist.
