Job Description

Client Account Manager - Hedge Fund AccountingGlasgowCompetitive Salary + Benefits An opportunity has arisen with our Glasgow based, global financial services client for the position of Client Account Manager. You will be the primary contact where you will update on funds and the market, offering the best of service.Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing up to 5 clients ensuring the delivery of audited financial statements
  • Coordinating with colleagues globally to identify solutions to any problems occurring in the process.
  • Coordinating trading activity for listed and OTC products (IRS, CDS, Swaptions, Repo’s, FX OTC) with the client.
  • Collaborating with other accounting teams regarding daily and monthly deliverables
  • Providing the best in client service
  • Reviewing key fund organizational documents and fund setup, to manage operation risk.
  • Continuously monitoring opportunities to extend the overall service package to clients by promoting the complete sweet of products.
Applicants will have extensive knowledge of complex hedge fund and/or private equity strategies and investor level accounting concepts from a previous fund accounting related role. Such experience can be derived from asset manager, fund administrator oraccountancy practice. Alongside this you will have knowledge of various product types such as derivatives and options. You will also have an understanding of financial statement reporting requirements (GAAP or IFRS). Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills, both verbal and written are essential as is understanding client needs and requirements and ability to trouble-shoot and problem solve.Excellent opportunities for personal and career progression, alongside hybrid working arrangements.
