Job Description

CLAIMS INVESTIGATORSCOTLAND - HOME BASEDTHE ROLEThis exciting role is home/field-based and covers parts of Scotland.In this role, you will investigate primarily bodily injury general insurance claims, deal with legal liability and indemnity, and recommend the best course of action for efficient and effective claims settlement. Your objective is to ensure that customersreceive outstanding service, contributing personally to business growth.ABOUT YOUTo excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • A solid understanding of General Insurance end-to-end processes and products, with at least 3 years of prior experience in handling and investigating Motor/Motor Bodily Injury/Motor Property and/or Casualty Claims
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex or technical information in a straightforward manner and deliver excellent customer experiences and outcomes
  • Strong organizational skills, including effective diary management and the ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks
  • A valid Driver’s License is essential for this role as it involves home and field-based work
RESPONSIBILITIESYour role will involve:
  • Investigating, reporting on, and negotiating motor and casualty claims, as required by Company and Regulatory requirements to ensure a high standard of customer service
  • Investigating claims both in the field and through desktop investigation
