My client, a leading logistics business based in Cumbernauld is looking to hire a Claims Advisor to join their team. Responsibilities: * Process all incoming notifications of vehicle incidents* Investigate accident circumstances* Carry out third party intervention* Conduct after accident interviews with both drivers involved in the incident and members of the management team* Arrange repairs of both AFS and third party vehicles through our Auto Repair Centre or repair network* Liaise with insurance company to report any required claims and manage/set appropriate reserves* Daily management of insurance claims portal to track changes in reserves* Liaise via claims management company for incidents referred* Liaise with Payroll and finance teams for any payments requiredSkills & Experience: * Experience in motor fleet industry* Demonstratable experience within motor vehicle claims industry highly desirable* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in order to provide relevant and accurate information to customers* Negotiation, questioning and decision-making skills* Good planning and analytical skills* Communication skills and confidence when dealing with people, often in difficult circumstances* Active listening skills* Administrative, organisational and time management skillsPlease see our website page headed (eg) Privacy Notice for an explanation about how we use information we collect about you
