Job Description

Location: Hybrid workingYou will primarily be working in two Glasgow locations:

  • Children with Disabilities hub based at The Mallard in Springburn
  • Family Wellbeing hub based at the Daisy Chain in Govanhill
The roleWorking within our Children & Families directorate, this role represents an exciting and rewarding opportunity to guide and shape our services for children with disabilities, which includes the Mallard short breaks and GO2 community-based services and our DaisyChain Family Wellbeing service, as we look to support children, young people and families to thrive and succeed.Taking a lead on improvement and development and through the line management of Team Leaders, the Children Services Manager will:
  • Ensure that our services meaningfully listen to and involve children, young peopleand families
  • Support and develop a culture of learning and transparency
  • Oversee all aspects of service deliveryensuring financial, quality, health and safety, regulatory targets and performance measures are achieved
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
