Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Chef de Partie to join a highly successful team in one of Scotlands most stunning hotels.The venue:Located in a popular picturesque town in Perthshire, this modern and contemporary award-winning venue is popular with holidaymakers and locals. The hotel has a number of dining experiences on offer to its guests, including a AA Rosette Awardedfine dining restaurant, Lounge & Bar, Waterside Brassiere, and unique outdoor dining options.The Role:As Chef de Partie, you will actively promote team member involvement and understanding of food as part of the hotels culture. There is a stable professional and friendly kitchen team working to a high standard in a well-equipped kitchen using fantasticlocal produce including herbs grown in their own on-site gardens.You will be an integral part of the kitchen operation; the key tasks you can expect to be involved in are:

  • To maintain levels of service that consistently exceeds the expectations guests
  • To be a real team player and work to build strong working relationships
  • To ensure knowledge of the products and service is implemented at all times
  • To ensure effective daily communication within all areas of the Food & Beverage Operation
  • To be aware of the security of stock
  • To avoid wastage at all times, and ensure food is stored securely and safely
About you:
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a Chef de Partie role is required.
  • Ideally, you have experience in working in a fine dining / AA Rosette-awarded venue / high standard dining
  • You have outstanding hygiene skills and a certificate in elementary food hygiene
  • You are passionate about food and cooking
  • You have an excellent understanding of customer satisfaction
  • You have high standards
Whats in it for you
