Checkout Inspections and Deposit Returns AgentSalary: £24,000 (Open to Negotiation)Location: Glasgow - West EndI currently have an opening for a Checkout Agent with an established letting agents in the West End of Glasgow.You will play a pivotal role in facilitating smooth end-of-tenancy transitions by conducting detailed checkout inspections, negotiating deposit returns, and managing deposit disputes. You will ensure that properties are promptly re-rented by coordinating thenecessary maintenance outlined in inspection reports, delivering exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants while supporting routine property management tasks.This role is based fully on site Mon - Fri 8:30 - 5:00Key Responsibilities:* Carrying out checkout inspections* Forwarding checkout report to landlord/tenant * preparing a fair deposit return proposal based on the evidence* Liaising with both parties to complete deposit return process* Managing the deposit return and any deposit dispute that may arise* Advising landlords and seeking authorisation/instructing works required in order to prepare the property for re-let.* Providing support as needed, and providing general office support as required in answering telephone enquiries, booking and confirming viewingsThe successful candidate will possess:* Excellent customer service skills* Experience within lettings, viewings or checkouts* Strong organisational and administrative skills* Focused on accurate and timely completion of tasks* Strong Team player with excellent behaviours and values* Strong IT skills* Managing and prioritising a busy work load* Build rapport wherever possible* Attention to detail* Proactive approachThe benefits are:* Discounted parking permit* 29 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)* PensionIf you feel that you have the skills and experience suitable for this role and are looking for your next opportunity then please get in touch with Tommy at our Glasgow office.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
