Care Support Worker (Personal Assistant) - Female DriverLocation: Stepps, GlasgowSalary: £9.30 per hourContract: Part time, 24 hours per week, PermanentPersonal Assistants have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be!Each person we support has different support needs, so your role may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.The Best in You Brings Out the Best in MeThe people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities. Graeme likes listening to music and watching the soaps and enjoys going ice skating and to music concerts.If successful your role will include:

  • Supporting Graeme to participate in physiotherapy & hydrotherapy
  • Supporting Graeme to attend health appointments
  • Providing social support to Graeme in the community
