Job Description

Clow Group Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced CAD Draughtsperson/Project Engineer to join the UKs leading access specialist based in Bridgeton, Glasgow G40.The position would ideally suit an experienced Draughtsperson/Project Engineer who has structural engineering experience and holds appropriate qualifications. The ability to perform structural calculations would be advantageous.Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Design and produce fabrication drawings for manufacture and fabrication of bespoke access solutions.
  • Be involved in all aspects of contracts from initial design to site survey, costing and quotation through to fabrication and installation.
  • Preparing O&M manuals and technical files.
  • Organise and programme fabrication works and liaise with external suppliers and contractors.
  • Liaise with clients/contractors to maintain project schedules and timescales and payment applications.
  • Prepare RAMS and H&S files for installation works.
Were looking for:
  • You must be numerate, literate and be an excellent communicator with people at all levels, both verbally and also in writing.
  • Have a good strength of character and personal drive.
  • Have the ability to balance conflicting priorities and challenging timescales and workloads.
  • Be willing to travel throughout the UK when required.
  • Be committed to working safely at all times.
  • Hold a full valid driving licence.
  • Be competent with Solidworks and/or AutoCAD.
