  • CAD Designer position dealing with a high quality range of manufactured roofing insulation products such as: vacuum panels, stonewool, cellular glass, polystyrene, polyisocyanurate and non-combustible upstand boards
  • Producing high quality AutoCAD designs for a range of installation systems
  • Design insulation systems and prepare costing of materials
  • Carrying out U value calculations to ensure all designs are compliant with client requirements and industry standards
  • Producing quotations and material take offs for projects
  • Liaise with membrane manufacturers, roofing contractors and main contractors
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry processes and best practices
The ideal applicant will be CAD Designer - Roofing Insulation with:
  • Must have AutoCAD design experience
  • Ideally will have experience within the construction sector working in the developer, house builder, roofing, cladding or building envelope market sector
  • Would consider graduates straight out of university
  • Ideally will have experience with U value calculations
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Tenacious, self-motivated, intelligent, team player
