Job Description

FPSG have partnered with one of the UKs most well-known organisations who are looking to add a Business Partner (Workforce Planning) to their existing team.With a number of exciting projects to be completed this a great time to join the business, from delivering a returners to work programme to helping build existing employees skills and capabilities. Within the role the Business Partner will work with stakeholders with the aim of creating robust workforce plans that will act as catalyst for service re-design and the development of new roles which will support workforce future resource planning across the business.Role Responsibilities:

  • Working with stakeholders to identify gaps and solutions to meet long term workforce requirements
  • Enable data led and evidence-based approach to workforce planning through supporting the delivery of strategic and operational insights for workforce decision making
  • Analysis of attrition, retention and impact on resource demand
  • Provide insights from current workforce, markets and competition to guide organisational strategy
  • Providing technical guidance to SWP tool users and superusers throughout the business
  • Scenario modelling of critical skills and resources with associated data insights and analytics
  • Working with business stakeholders to identify and forecast current and future skills, capability and resource needs
    • Skills and experience required:
  • Experienced in data manipulation and data visualisation
  • Comfortable translating data into meaningful insights for a non-technical audience
  • Confident interacting with business stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience reacting to and prioritising stakeholder needs, balancing planned, reactive and project work as required
  • Able to articulate a business issue and potential impact in non-technical language
  • Able to articulate a business issue and potential impact in non-technical language
  • Development and implementation of effective plans, strategies, procedures and policies
  • Ability to work independently and make effective decisions;
  • Accountability and ownership to see tasks through to completion;
  • Strong business partnering skills, (including relationship building, influencing, negotiation, assertiveness, self-awareness and comfort around higher management);
  • Positive influencing and negotiating skills which secure the buy in of key stakeholders, including senior management.
