Specialising in enhanced hygiene services, janitorial/housekeeping, daily cleans, window cleaning and consumables, our experienced teams ensure ourclients premises are kept at the highest presentation standards, while also ensuring the safety of building users.Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Business Director to join our passionate and driven team based at our clients site in Glasgow / Edinburgh.The Business Director will join the executive leadership team within Atalian Servest and will be responsible for the leadership of the Hard and Soft facilities management services to a critical blue light service in Scotland.The successful candidate will be the executive appointed director responsible for the health, safety, well-being, and profitability of the dedicated business unit with a revenue of up to £35 million per annum for services encompassing Hard FM (M&E, Fabric,Projects & Energy Management) and Soft FM (Cleaning, Waste, Security, Catering and Grounds Services) and a full IFM Helpdesk service from our Scotland HQ. The business unit will also employ circa 700 staff and a network of partnering supply chains in blue-and white-collar positions across the full region of Scotland.The successful candidate will hold and maintain positive executive-customer relationships, support business growth opportunities, and strongly collaborate with colleagues to deliver a positive, proactive, and progressive environment.Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, inspiration, and control of the business
  • Champion the utilization of the wider Atalian business in supporting services of capital projects, cleaning, security and catering
  • Full budgetary responsibility and associated cost base for all Hard, Soft FM and Helpdesk Services to over 400 sites across Scotland
  • Lead by example in the culture of safety, opportunity, inclusiveness, and diversity
  • Deliver contracts built on a strongly motivated workforce and partnering supply chain underpinned by leading-edge technical standards, solutions, and technology
  • Deliver contracts which achieve statutory compliance, KPI adherence and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ownership of customer relationships, delivering exceptional customer experience, true partnership and collaboration
  • Champion of SME engagement, circular economy and experience in local community support initiatives
  • Commercially astute, delivering contracts within a combination of framework contracts such as NEC4
  • Maximise the potential of Atalian Servest, leverage relationships and implement solutions which drive productivity and service enhancements
  • Ensure the business operates in compliance with Atalian Servest business processes, procedures and policies.
About You:
  • Extensive experience of working in a similar role for a Hard Services or Facilities Management service provider.
  • Qualified to degree level or have extensive experience at Senior Management level running hard services and/or facilities management contracts.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively to diverse stakeholder base
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully working with public sector clients.
  • A decisive individual with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong management skills and ability to form collaborative working relationships and communicate with a large and varied delivery team.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with good time management and leadership skills.
