THE ROLE: The product itself is a non-invasive device, used to support clinicians with identifying increased risk of pressure ulcers developing. No competition in the UK - this is your chance to be part of something special and growing!Typical contact level will be C-D suite level, ICSs, ICBs, tissue viability nurses, finance, Heads of Procurement, clinicians, and varied ward staff to name a few. As Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will be working in tandem with aClinical Sales Specialist, utilising their proven sales experience to drive new business within the NHS and private hospitals. The tech can be sold as capital purchase or rental, along with the associated consumables. You will spend 3-4 days field based, self-generatingleads as well as converting those via marketing. Full company and product training will be provided and career and earning prospects within the division and company are exciting and realistic.THE COMPANY: Exciting times for this market leading leading provider of a range of healthcare services and solutions across infection control, patient handling, risk assessment and injury prevention. They have recently launched a brand newexciting medical device for early pressure ulcer detection, with obvious benefit to patients and the NHS alike with regards to pathways, cost and resource savings etc. This new role has been created to successfully bring the product to the Scotland healthcaremarket.REQUIREMENTS: A proven, successful track record selling medical devices within Scotland, experience dealing at a senior level and a genuine hunger for new business and growthTHE CULTURE: A collaborative team environment with patient care at the heart of everything they doThe Package for Business Development Manager:
  • Basic: £50,000-£55,000
  • Bonus: £16,000 uncapped - paid quarterly
  • Car: Fully expensed company car or £600 per month allowance
  • Benefits: Healthcare, pension, fuel card, hotel card, flexible holiday (up to 5 days+/-), 23 days holiday (rising annually) + stats
