When you are smashing it, it’s difficult to move jobs.Sometimes though, smashing it just isn’t enough. You want to do more, push on to that next level but are limited by the services you can sell. Pretty frustrating, I genuinely get it.What if there were no limits on what you could sell If you were responsible for developing new business and passing the deliverables to somebody else If you were offered a guarantee to cover the short fall of commission, you’d lose by making the switchThere is a place like this.Last week, I met with a Sales Director (that I placed at their current business) for the first time since taking the role. It was mesmerising to see the plans and growth they want to achieve in the next 12 - 18 months (and beyond obviously).A restructure within the sales function has released so much more potential. BDM’s given the time and space to go and develop new opportunities and Client Service professionals fed through new clients to give them the care and attention they crave. Win win.You will be part of the Business Development team. You’ll be well versed in selling visual communications. Large Format, Vehicle Livery, Exhibition Displays, Window Graphics, Hoardings, POS.It would do everyone the world of good if you come with a little black book and jobs to run from day one. This isn’t always possible though, they get that. What they will want to see though is what you expect to do to cover the time between starting and being able to get back in front of your network. The answer - Graft! If you’re coming from outside of the Large Format world, that is ok but you’ve got to be a proven door opener.Base salary will depend on you, your experience and how you have performed in previous sales roles. Commission is available from day one along with a car allowance (you’ll need to have a driving license) and everything else you need to do the job.
