Job Description

Business Development Manager25K-35K Salary DOE + BonusFull time working from home outside of occasional travel for meetings.Initial maternity cover with the opportunity for a permanent placement.A Glasgow based creative industry are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in events, conferences, or exhibitions to join their team.If you have:

  • A driven and sociable attitude.
  • Experience in slow burner sales in events, conferences, or exhibitions.
  • Good commercial acumen
  • 3 years sales experience
  • The ability to compose well written and concise emails.
  • The ability to collaborate with creative organisations to fulfil their exhibition ideas.
Your new role will consist of:
  • Generating new business/leads in line with agreed targets.
  • Client management and customer service.
  • Researching the market and related products.
  • Managing relationships with key accounts.
  • Face to face networking at exhibitions across the UK and down the line, in Europe.
  • Keeping accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Managing your pipeline successfully.
