Business Development Executive - Technology servicesGlasgow and SurroundMy client is a growing and progressive business that delivers a wide range of technology support for both SME and corporate businesses. They are a consultative service provider that aim to make business connectivity and communications easier, more cost effectiveand tailored to individual organisational needs.Due to a period of sustained growth, they are now keen to add to their already established field based commercial team here in Scotland and are now inviting applications from talented business development professionals that are keen to both develop professionallyand also enhance their overall earning capacity.The role is a blend of new business development & account management, and the post holder will be supported by a dedicated internal lead generation function. The main purpose of the role is to target and engage with key decision makers within a wide varietyof businesss and then consult deeply on their existing connectivity & communication service requirements assessing whether their existing arrangements deliver true value against their individual business needs and requirements.This is a highly consultative role that requires a solution focused sales professional capable of developing added value business relationships with end users up to C-level.Candidates are invited to apply that can demonstrate the following:

  • A stable and progressive sales/business development career to date.
  • 2 years plus B2B field-based business development experience (developed within any sector) but crucially you will be able to demonstrate a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding targets and service levels
  • A highly consultative and solution orientated approach towards sales and with the ability to negotiate win/win outcomes
  • That you are a proven relationship builder with the ability to both develop new revenue streams and manage a portfolio account base effectively
  • An interest and understanding in integrated communication & technology
  • Can lead on new tenders and negotiate business deals effectively to C-level
  • Benefit from excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Whats on offerAn excellent basic salary of £25,000 - £32,000 pa (depending on experience) plus company Car and a fair, realistic and uncapped bonus scheme ensuring c60k OTE. Pension and a wide variety of other benefits included.
