Job Description

Business Central Implementation Lead - Green Energy - £75,000 - Glasgow/HybridI am looking for a Business central implementation lead to join one of my end-users based on the outskirts of Glasgow, they are a global company specialising in the Green Energy and engineering sector, and as a company mission they are looking to make the planeta better and greener place! They have some major systems development plans for the next 3-5 years and have a business model where they are working with over 100+ super users, which means lots of exciting implementation plans, including there next major project – moving across from a multitudeof ERP systems across to Business central followed by moving all on-site services onto the cloud.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Management-Responsible for managing implementation. This includes defining project scope, setting timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring successful completion within budget.
  • Requirements Analysis-You will work closely with key stakeholders, such as business users, IT teams, and management, to gather and analyze business requirements. This involves understanding the specific needs and challengesof the engineering and oil and gas sector and translating them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Soltuion Design -Based on the gathered requirements, you will design the solution architecture and determine the best configuration and customization options within the Business Central platform. This includes defining workflows, settingup master data, designing reports, and integrating with other systems.
  • Configuration and Customization: You will be responsible for configuring the Business Central system according to the identified requirements. This includes setting up modules, defining user roles and permissions, configuring workflowsand business processes, and implementing necessary customizations.
  • Data Migration: In collaboration with the data migration team, you will oversee the process of migrating data from legacy systems or spreadsheets into Business Central. This involves mapping data fields, cleansing and transforming data,and ensuring data integrity during the migration process.
  • Continuous Improvement:After the initial implementation, you will continuously assess and enhance the Business Central solution to meet evolving business needs and industry trends. This includes identifying areas for improvement, recommendingsystem enhancements, and staying updated with the latest features and updates from the Business Central platform.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Located near to office based on outskirts of Glasgow
  • 3+ years working in implementation of Business central
  • Preference for someone with engineering/ Energy/ Oil & gas/ Construction experience
  • 4PS/ ETL skills.
