As a Barclays Business Analyst you will be joining The Global Cash Settlement Technology team within Markets Post Trade. What will you be doing Being part of a programme delivery team that works business and IT teams to help define and refine user stories by using data driven analysis or assisting/leading user workshops. Defining and documenting functional requirements either by use of user stories or functional requirements Working with the business to document Acceptance Criteria and working closely with technology development teams to ensure solutions meet the requirements Assisting in the coordination of and hands-on assistance with User Acceptance Testing Detailing gap analysis and design tasks, across multiple applications and technologies to propose solutions and assess the impact of change on systems, interfaces, processes Identifying or providing solution options, pros/cons and present recommendations using appropriate level of documentation for audience and consult to get agreement What were looking for: Excellent analytical skills Self-driven and open minded and the ability to work with minimal supervision Team Player and can demonstrate collaboration within and across teams Good communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to face off with various levels of seniority Skills that will help you in the role: Demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst role using Agile and Lean principles and practices, with strong evidence of either business and technology change delivery Ability and willingness to take ownership for BA tasks and liaise with relevant colleagues/teams to secure successful acceptance and delivery Solid experience of practical use of use of Jira/Rally, Confluence Experience of managing tasks across different functions and across non co-located teams Where will you be workingOur new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
