BOBST GLUING OPERATOR / flexo folding box glue operator

Job Description

Our client is a currently looking to recruit a Bobst Gluing Operator to join their Production team who will report to the Production Shift Supervisor. The chosen candidate will manufacture or assist in the manufacture of corrugated packaging to high quality standards.You will be operating a Bobst Expertfold machine, and be able to set and run, multi point glued crash lock, 4 corner, and 6 corner corrugate cartons.Responsibilities:Cleaning and maintaining machinery

  • Setting machinery both via a computer and manually
  • Demonstrating flexibility in operating a variety of machinery proficiently
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained throughout production process
  • Look to help your Team Leader improve on all KPIs with effective utilisation of labour and resources
  • Minimise downtime by forward planning to ensure all materials are available well in advance
  • To help utilise allocated labour to the best effect in order to achieve identified priorities
  • Work with your Team Leader on process / continuous improvement projects

Candidate should have worked in boxing, packaging or an industry similar with similar duties.You will be operating a Bobst Expertfold machine, and be able to set and run, multi point glued crash lock, 4 corner, and 6 corner corrugate cartons.Responsibilities:

    • Wage will be dependant on experience.Working Shifts: 37.5hrs - flexible, can be dayshift/backshift/nightshift (backshift & nightshift will have an extra allowance). SNJ Will discuss with appropriate candidates what suits.This is a full time job and is temporary to permanent. That is once candidates have proved themselves will be offered a permanent job after exceeding 13 full weeks of employment. Required skills
