Butler Rose is working with the one of the UKs leading independent IT and communication experts in their search for an experienced Billing Analyst to join their team. This is a 10 month FTC Maternity Cover starting from January 2024 and will pay £32,000- £35,000 (pro rata) to the successful candidate. The location can be Glasgow, Eashing or Liverpool on a hybrid basis.The purpose of this role is to ensure that our customers receive accurate invoices and reports within a timely manner. The role will be responsible for building new tariffs, testing products and billing system functionality, helping the business understandchanges and movements in billing.Responsibilities:* Responsible for running test bills and rating reports to ensure accurate billing of new products and tariffs on 1st customer bill.* Liaising with suppliers and billing provider to ensure the smooth running of daily and monthly tasks.* Management of tickets within billing ticket queue* Housekeeping tasks to ensure complete preparation for the bill run.* Assist with running of monthly and daily bill runs* Investigate billing issues and propose remedial actions.* Management of bill run process document and ensuring it is up to date and relevant.* Create and manage the monthly billing report.* Assist in the introduction of new products and services to ensure that they are operationally supported ready for go-live date.Qualifications:* Telecoms experience, preferably using Affinity platform.* At least 3 years or telecoms billing experience* Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups* Good SQL querying skills and experience with Power BI desirable* Demonstrates understanding of call data records.* Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.* Excellent communication ability* Teamwork skills* Organisational and time management skills* Ability to work independently and to deadlines.Our client offer a wide range of benefits and incentives to their employees including:* Design Your Life training and development programme* Flexible working* Company Pension Scheme and matching contributions* Company Perks portal* Private Medical insurance* Life assurance* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus holiday trading* Health Club and Wellbeing Scheme* Employee Assistance Programme* Technical Training Academy and E-learningWe can offer you a full insight and job description on applying, please dont delay with your application.Please call or email Cerys Kirby Thirlwell for further information.Butler Rose is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.Butler Rose Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
