Part-time Bereavement Support Practitioner Base: Finnieston, Glasgow G3 - although currently working from home due to the ongoing pandemic. Hours: part-time position (15 hours per week 0.4FTE) Salary: £24,000 pro rata per annum (£9600) This is offered on a fixed term contract to 31 August 2023.About the employerThis UK charity helps children, parents and families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. They support children and young people up to the age of 25 who are facing bereavement, and anyone affected by the death of a child of any age.They provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.About the roleThey are seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled and experienced part-time Bereavement Support Practitioner to join their established team in Glasgow supporting adults bereaved of a child, as well as offering some support to young people, who are bereaved. This post is office based, but due to the ongoing pandemic this post will be home based for the foreseeable future.
