Job Description

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading public sector organisation who require a Migration Engineer with a strong background in Azure & Palo Alto or Checkpoint. Role Responsibilities

  • Support the organisations move to Azure using a Lift & Shift Cloud Migration Strategy, focusing on network discovery and implementation of supporting network & firewall changes
  • Deliver Datacentre migration services to Microsoft Azure
  • Migrate and discover workshops and documentation, to prepare the Azure Environments for migrating services
Role Requirements
  • Proven experience of workload migrations to Azure
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Expertise in Azure Migrate, Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure network security groups
  • Recent experience on configuring Palo Alto & Checkpoint firewalls, Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Application Security Groups (ASGs).
  • Network discovery experience
  • Desired: Experience with dependency analysis on mapping server IPs, using ports using Azure Migrate Assessment Tool and moving from an open on-prem network to a secured network within Azure.
Role Details
  • Head office in Glasgow- but happy to work Fully Remote
  • £550 per day
  • Inside IR35
  • 3 month contract
