As a Barclays Global Reconciliations Manager, you will be expected to lead a team to deliver and support Cards and Payments business by ensuring Payment files, Journals and processes are completed with the highest levels of accuracy and within agreed SLAs.Ensuring there is compliance with key controls & Audits (SOX/MPI) and you will be expected to build and maintain solid relationships across GRS Teams, Operations and Technology. What will you be doing You will be accountable for leading the GRS Glasgow Interface team Supporting your team to be contributing initiative ideas and Lean opportunities Helping your team to actively participate in some initiatives and take lead in others Acting as a day to day escalation point for Key stakeholders and looking to resolve complex issues Partnering with Change, Risk, BIA, Technology teams to drive, understand and implement changes Leading, motivating and developing teams to create a high performance culture What were looking for: You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships You have broad Financial Services experience ideally in an Operations, Control or Change role Ability to demonstrate logical, creative and analytical thinking skills Excellent experience in risk background /culture and you are able to identify problems and resolve, before the risk occurs Skills that will help you in the role: You are educated to Bachelors degree or equivalent You have an improvement mindset, coupled with the tenacity to make a positive difference Broad experience within Intellimatch and/or other Barclays Books and Records platforms Excellent knowledge of the upstream and downstream system flow in a typical Retail, Card and investment banking environment Where will you be workingGlasgowOur new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
