Job Description

Do you want to be a part of an innovative and supportive team, where there are great opportunities for career progression and developmentWe are looking for 2x Technical Assistants to support the implementation and ongoing managements of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) records within our Asset Records team based in Horley reporting directly to one of the Asset Records Support Assistants.What will you be doing day to day

  • Creation and maintenance of E&I asset registers
  • Technical administration of E&I drawings, E&I faults and reporting.
  • Administration of condition monitoring and hazardous area databases
  • General support for E&I records submitted as part of projects
  • Effectively Communicating with internal stakeholders including E&I managers and engineers.
  • Supporting with other Asset Management activities
What you’ll need
  • You will be highly organised, capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines and responding to changing priorities at short notice
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Have or be able to develop a basic understanding of how operational gas assets and systems work to interpret various formats of asset data.
  • Highly motivated with a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team or alone dependent on task.
  • Ability to respond and adapt quickly to change; and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills supporting regular liaison with other departments and stakeholders within SGN or externally
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and have the ability to use multiple software packages to manage workloads and tasks.
