Our client is a successful asbestos consultancy who provide a broad range of asbestos services to clients across the UK. They are currently seeking a high calibre Asbestos Surveyor /Analyst to join their team and are looking for someone based in and aroundthe Glasgow area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and be able to demonstrate their extensive knowledge and experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst on a range of sites. They will consider applications from East Kilbride, Paisley,Hamilton, Cumbernauld, and the surrounding areas.Qualifications & Experience:Will possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.Have significant experience working within an asbestos surveying and air-testing/air-monitoring within the asbestos industry.Experience with managing own work load and providing a consultancy service to clients would be advantageous Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various sites - commercial and industrial.Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.Collating and producing asbestos reports as and when required.Establishing and maintaining a good working rapport with the companys portfolio of clients.Attributes:Overall, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.A fantastic salary, depending on expertise and set skills, company vehicle and along with many other fringe benefits awaits the right candidate.Future Select are the leading market supplier for recruitment in the Asbestos industry, we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the asbestos market.
