Our client is a well-respected asbestos consultancy known for their expertise in asbestos services, with clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced, multi-skilled and qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst based in or around the Glasgow area. The ideal applicant will be someone who holds the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates with extensive experience carrying out both analytical and asbestos surveying duties on a range of site/contract types. Applications from Hamilton, E Kilbride, Falkirk, Paisley, and the surrounding areas will be considered.Qualifications & Experience:Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.Experience working as an asbestos surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry.Hold excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation.Proficient IT skills including competency using MS Office.Duties within the Role:Undertake asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition asbestos surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.Overseeing contractors on site ensuring compliance with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.Collating and producing comprehensive and accurate asbestos reports.Build and maintain a strong working rapport with the companys mixed portfolio of clients.Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all professional levelsAttributes: Overall, the successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible approach to work and will be an adaptable and versatile addition to an established team.Prospective candidates must also be prepared to travel to sites as per the client/company requirements.
