Area Sales Manager - Healthcare EquipmentScotland - Glasgow, Edinburgh, AyrshireSalary - £33,000 to £35,000 plus quarterly bonus, plus mercedes van, plus benefitsThe OpportunityWe are working with a leading supplier of beds, moving and handling and patient hygiene solutions to the NHS and regional community services throughout the UK. The business is built on listening to customers, empathy, keeping promises, and providing firstclass after sales support.The RoleThe role is to generate sales of healthcare equipment by demonstrating products to an array of medical staff, patients and occupational therapists in the NHS (acute) and social care (community) throughout Scotland but with an emphasis on the central belt.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic sales professional. We would also consider a healthcare professional such as an occupational therapist or physio or nurse looking to move to a new career. We are open to applications from all backgrounds,but you must have the following attributes.A stable employment history, empathetic nature to be able to demonstrate products for those needing care, a confident communicator, an ability to understand products of a technical nature, physically fit to be able to carry and demonstrate equipment. Wellorganised to manage a large territory, a proactive individual that is comfortable looking for new opportunities within a pool of existing customers.The role will involve a significant amount of travel and, due to the nature of the products, will be at times physically demanding. Ideally you will live in the central belt. Should you have experience of selling healthcare products such as mobility products,patient handling, lifting and moving, hoists, beds, hygiene products to name a few then we would be keen to speak with you.
