Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms and ShowersJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms and ShowersIndustry Sector: KBB, Brassware, Bathroom taps, Showers & Shower Enclosures, Kitchen Taps, Bathroom Accessories, Wetroom Enclosures, Showrooms, Independent Retail Showrooms and Independent Plumbers Merchants & Builders MerchantsArea to be covered: Scotland - ideally based central beltRemuneration: £40,000 Neg. + £10,000-£15,000 CommissionBenefits: Fully expensed Car and full benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms and Showers will involve:

  • Field sales role promoting our clients range of bathroom and shower taps and accessories
  • Selling into independent bathroom retail showrooms and independent plumbing & builders merchants
  • Responsible for an area currently up on budget with a turnover of circa £80,000-£90,000 per month turnover
  • Approx 100 accounts on patch (60% plumbers merchants, 40% bathroom retail)
  • 70% of your time developing new business relationships within independent bathroom retailers and independent plumbing & builders merchants
  • 30% nurturing and developing existing customer relationships
  • Keeping a detailed log on our clients CRM system on a daily and weekly basis
  • Educating clients and staff in house in respect of developments with products and procedures
    • The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms and Showers with:
  • New business hunter, hungry to learn and develop business
  • Must have proven track record in a field sales within the KBB/ bathroom market
  • Must have sold into bathroom retail showrooms or independent plumbing & builders merchants
  • May consider a field sales person from a national plumbers/ builders merchant background
  • Ideally with a good grasp of the retail bathroom brassware and showering trade
  • On the up in career/ looking to make a name for yourself
  • Able to effectively overcome objections in a selling situation
