Job Description

Premier Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a well established and international organisation to recruit an Area Manager (Northern England and Scotland)-IVD to join their team. This is an exciting position to cover UK Manufacturing, UK commercial and Nordic commercial entity.This is a full-time and permanent role.Job purpose:To be responsible for maximising growth in sales and the profitability in the assigned territory in the UK. You will strive to reach and surpass the set objectives. You will be responsible for implementing sales plans and closely monitoring the performanceof the assigned area. You will establish and maintain excellent customer relationships. In addition, you will ensure that administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.Main Responsibilities:

  • To identify opportunities within the designated sales area for company products and utilise tactical sales plans in accordance with company sales strategies, to maximise revenue, profit and company image.
  • To represent the company and its products to customers, within the company code of ethics, so as to enhance the company image.
  • To provide realistic forecasts for your area to the Sales Management team in order to ensure continuity or product supply.
  • To provide first level customer support and liaise with customer care and the orders department to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • To represent the Company at exhibitions and symposia so as to enhance Company Image.
  • Administrative tasks: Quotations, FOC forms, Monthly report for area, UK price list, Expenses to be completed within set time frames. Updating CRM daily. Providing the marketing team with all relevant data in specified time frame
Qualifications/Experience
  • Ideally sales experience in a similar field.
  • Self motivated, driven, organised, ability to cope well in unexpected situations, ability to utilise information provided as useful sales tools.
  • Need to be computer literate and hold a valid UK drivers licence
  • Induction and product training will be provided, additional training will be required as required, example CRM, QMS etc.
  • Some travel outside of the allocated area will be required
