Job Description

Advice Services is a centre of excellence for Advice focused projects and management of the client experience.In this role, you will be managing or supporting centralised activities and projects as assigned by the Director, Advice Services.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help to drive technical and client service excellence within Advice.
  • Technical projects including small Advice changes and working with the wider business on large scale projects that impact advice from a technical and client experience perspective e.g. Acquisition integrations, technical regulatory change, improving clientreviews, enhancing the client experience and employee engagement.
  • Centralised support for ad hoc activities such as audit actions, client communications etc
  • Analysis of requirements and implementation of enhancements / changes as directed by the Director, Advice Services and Head of Advice Services
  • Xplan SME supporting continuous improvement / enhancements to the user experience
  • To fully comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (as amended from time to time) and the rules of The Financial Conduct Authority and any other applicable laws and regulations.
  • To communicate and escalate potential issues in a prompt and effective manner.
  • To participate in relevant training courses when requested to do so, in particular antimony laundering and market abuse training.
  • To adhere to the relevant Asset Management division policies, including those on conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment at all times.
  • To follow the Group and local rules on personal account dealing as set out in the Group Personal Dealing Rules and supplemented by specific additional local requirements set out in the relevant Compliance Manual.
  • To fully comply with the relevant Anti-Money Laundering regulations, specifically relating to the verification of clients and report promptly any knowledge or suspicion of money laundering activities to the relevant MLRO

  • Level 4 qualified with previous experience in a financial services technical role
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills relating to financial services industry
  • Excellent knowledge of the FCA regulatory framework
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, creating a culture in the Advice Services function in line with Business Principles
  • Lead by consistently demonstrating the Business Principles
  • Ensure that the business operates in such a manner that it encourages openness and transparency when dealing with all personnel.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders within the business
  • Embraces a culture of continuous improvement
