Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator for our public sector client based either in Glasgow or Hamilton. This is a temporary role until September with a rate of pay £12.05 per hour. The hours will be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (37 hours), flexibilityaround start/finish times will be required. There may be travel to other offices.If successful for the post, you will have to apply for a Standard Disclosure clearance.Duties:

  • Provide diary management and secretariat support for in-person and virtual meetings, including drafting and issuing agendas, minutes and note taking, liaising with a broad range of contacts and stakeholders.
  • Provide daily administrative assistance to the Operations Finance Team.
  • Regularly maintain key internal products to ensure they remain relevant and accurate.
  • Monitor and manage business specific mailboxes, directing enquiries to and commissioning work from business units, liaising with the appropriate contacts.
  • Travel as required to support in-person and virtual meetings, including providing general assistance during presentations. Arrange venue bookings, travel, accommodation, parking, refreshments, and catering as required.
  • Requisitioning and receipting of invoices through purchasing system.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Candidates must be highly developed in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Cisco WebEx/Webinar experience, be a strong communicator and be adaptive and flexible where required
  • Manage time and a varied workload, to meet set deadlines; be flexible; support and promote change
  • able to remain calm under pressure and always maintaining confidentiality, with effective communication skills and be adaptive and flexible.
