Job Description

Due to the anticipated response to this post it may close before the closing date noted on the advert therefore once you start your application form please complete it immediatelyThe reception area is the first line of communication for patients and is responsible for the administrative support service undertaking a wide range of duties including to act as a link between users, clinics, departments, tradesmen and contractors, receiving, logging, tracking and implementation of emergency and non-emergency job reporting procedures, the routine administration of various applications. You will ensure that a comprehensive administrative support service is provided to all Directorate services and functions.The main duties will be the provision of customer/patient focused reception/telephone/mailroom/cash office service /Issue of patient travel expenses/Security/Car parking/Id badge issue and management/Locker management/Electronic Payroll/Electronic Purchasing.You should have;

  • Excellent knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of Finance Department Procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of SSTS.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Word Processing, Excel skills and knowledge of all electronic information systems used
