Administrative Assistant Part TimeGlasgow£28,512 pro-rata per annum (full time salary) - actual salary for 17.5 hours is £12,702 pa pro-rataContract type: TemporaryPosition type: Part TimeFixed term maternity cover until November 202217.5 hours per week (happy to talk flexible working)Based in Glasgow with home working until at least March 2022About the roleTrade Union Education trains union reps to work with union members and officers to make a difference in their workplace. The training is run in partnership with further education colleges and online across the UK. Union reps attend from a wide range of industriesand unions.Together with our Education Officer, the post holder will contribute to the success of this vital area of work.Who were looking forThis role is central to the smooth running and success of our trade union education offer. The post holder will have responsibility for a range of key administrative duties including assisting with the enrolment of trade union members onto courses, handlingenquiries and using a variety of office systems to carry out day to day tasks so good teamwork, attention to detail, sound organisation and IT skills are essential.What skills and knowledge do you need

  • youll enjoy the challenge of dealing with a wide range of enquiries
  • youll be used to promoting good working relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders
  • your IT knowledge and skills will enable you to maintain and update a range of data sources and produce regular reports
  • youll be experienced at working independently and using your initiative
