Venesky-Brown’s client, a oyublic sector organisation in Scotland, is currently looking to recruit an Admin Officer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £14.11 - £15.35/hour PAYE. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week. This role will be flexibleworking.Responsibilities:- Using a variety of Microsoft 365 packages (e.g. Outlook; Word; PowerPoint; SharePoint; Teams; Excel; MS Forms, Canva, MS Sway) - Responding to emails from internal and external contacts in a timely manner - Answering calls from internal and external customers using Microsoft Teams - Mailbox management – working collaboratively and effectively within shared team mailboxes responding to queries - Arranging meetings, organising agendas and papers - Note taking for meetings - Diary management - Experience of administering virtual events including webinars Essential Skills:- HNC in business administration or SCQF Level 7 equivalence via ProfessionalDevelopment Awards; Higher Education Certificates; Modern Apprenticeships; and SVQs - Practical experience working within an administration environment- Experience of working flexibly within in a busy team - Ability to work with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines - Experience of communicating and influencing across own team, and the wider organisation - Experience of working effectively in often rapidly changing situations - Flexible approach to learning and problem solving - Commitment to personal and professional development- Accurate eye for detail - High level customer service skills, with a helpful, flexible attitude - Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workloads - Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, internally and externally, both verbally and in written form- Proven expertise in using Microsoft 365, in particular Teams, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelDesirable Skills:- Experience of working within Health and/or Social CareIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
