With more than 400,000 global clients and a reputation for quality, we are at the forefront of service and innovation.Our people are at the heart of everything we do, which is why we have worked hard to create a supportive and engaging working environment, which is open and inclusive and individuals are given the opportunity to fulfil their potential and really leave theirmark.Job description:Acoustics & Vibration Consultant Hybrid Working - 1 office day in Glasgow p/w We are growing our Acoustics and Vibration services in the UK and are now looking to recruit a consultant to join our team of experts providing customers with consultancy support relating to all aspects of Acoustics and Vibration.Our team, spread through the UK, manage projects across many sectors and includes environmental and industrial noise and vibration assessments, noise modelling, detailed noise design and control studies and building acoustic services.Responsibilities involve

  • Support and undertake site visits to complete relevant survey work
  • Provide high quality technical consultancy to clients through support to senior Consulting Group members and directly where applicable
  • Support the delivery of projects on time and to budget; to manage personal resources and time
  • To follow all financial procedures in the delivery of projects
  • Assist in and draft technical consultancy documents
  • Marketing the relevant services of the company
  • Keep abreast of current legislation, relevant national and international standards and guidelines and technical developments within the relevant field
  • Support the delivery of projects on time and to budget; to manage personal resources and time
  • Conduct research, collection and interpretation of technical data
  • Measurement, prediction and analysis of assessments
  • Be exemplar in client management and relationship building
Who we are looking for We are looking for an ambitious Consultant who is looking to further their career within the A&V industry. The role will require an understanding of A&V assessments in the UK and the legislation that informs it. We would expect you to have at least 1 yearprofessional experience in the acoustics industry and membership of the Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA or MIOA) preferable.We are looking for a problem solver who is comfortable formulating novel and bespoke solutions, whilst working to relevant legislation.You will have strong analytical skills, and a positive approach to the challenges of change.
