Job Description

Company: DF Concerts and EventsDepartment: FinanceLocation: Glasgow, UKReports to: Senior Accounts AssistantWorking Hours: Full time, 40hrs - Mon to Fri with additional event work as requiredRole DescriptionThe main purpose of this role is to assist the Senior Accounts Assistant to ensure all aspects of both AP / AR ledgers are maintained and reconciled on a continuous basis. What the role includes
  • Prepare and post sales ledger items including ticket sales remittances, cashflows and venue settlements to ensure accurate and timely recording of income
  • Raise sales ledger invoices from sales ledger invoice requests and maintain sales invoice register
  • Assist with all aspects of Credit Control to ensure debt is collected in a timely manner
  • Prepare, check and process purchase ledger items to allow accurate information to be obtained from GP accounts payable and ensure timely payment of suppliers. This will include invoices, purchase orders, expenses, artist fees, venue settlements and cashflowsas required.
  • Help maintain Log Batch and query system within GP to ensure information is up to date and relevant
  • Ensure purchase ledger and sales ledger items are approved and processed in line with the documented company procedures and SOA
  • Reconcile supplier statements ensuring, invoices/credits are requested when missing and escalating as necessary to Senior Accounts Assistant
  • Ensure any housekeeping task on Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger are completed on a regular basis and in preparation for month end reconciliation
  • Ensure all sales ledger and purchase ledger filing is kept up to date and other admin tasks as required
  • Provide holiday / absence cover for Senior Accounts Assistant
