Job Description

PagePersonnel are delighted to be partnered with our client to recruit an Accounts Assistant. The Accounts Assistant role will be responsible for all the transactions and processing for assigned group companies.Client DetailsOur client primarily operates across the Commercial Property Sector, having built a strong reputation for Property Construction, Investment and Management over the last 20 years.DescriptionThe successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

  • Sales Ledger - Raising ad-hoc Customer invoices/credit notes
  • Purchase Ledger - processing and supplier reconciliations for assigned group companies
  • Bank Reconciliation - Ensure all transactions are processed daily and appropriately reconciled
  • Review and maintaining accurate Record Management
  • Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts
  • VAT Return preparation
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Credit Card reconciliation and control
  • Inter Company reconciliation and control
ProfileThe successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Payroll experience
  • Experience with Sage Accounts and Trace Solutions Property Management Systems "TRAMPS" is preferred although not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
Job OfferThis role will offer a competitive salary between £25,000-£28,000 plus great benefits.
