Job Description

Key Account Sales ExecutiveGlasgow, Anniesland£23,500 Annually, £28,000 OTEPermanent, Full time, Mon – Fri, 08:30– 17:00Do you have excellent customer service skills and the ability to business relationshipsReed is working with an international facilities and cleaning company who are looking for a Key Account Sales Executive.The main purpose of the role is to develop and strengthen customers relationships by understanding their needs and providing top-quality services.The role will suit any candidate with a background in customers service and phone sales.The main duties of the role are:

  • Establishing and building exceptional relationships with loyal customer base, by understanding their needs and orders, and identifying what products will benefit them.
  • Order processing and dealing with enquires with accuracy and pace for customers.
  • Answering customer emails and queries, working together as part of a small friendly team.
  • Answering inbound calls and managing a busy email inbox.
  • Placing outbound calls to help customers.
  • Driving sales by getting to know customers and becoming familiar with their orders.
  • Growing business by nurturing customer relationships and helping accounts progress.
  • Dealing with challenges including price changes and maintaining loyal relationships.
  • Working with the External (Field Based) Key Account Managers to support their customer and business objectives.
To succeed in this role you will need:
  • A passion about delivering excellent customer service and excellent communication skills.
  • A dedicated and positive working attitude.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A commercial mindset with a natural sales approach based on understanding needs, not hard selling.
  • An adaptable, friendly, and motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A keen focus on account management and doing the right thing for the customer.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills with MS Office packages and ideally Salesforce.
